- [videos](https://www.suzannelang.com/videos): In these short talks, I explore four key areas that quietly shape our entire experience of life: The Nature of Thought, Conditioning, The Personal (Separate) Self.
And how these three together create the veil that hides the peace, awareness, and aliveness always present beneath. These videos are an invitation to gently unlearn what was never true - and to see more clearly the simplicity, clarity, and wholeness that were never missing, just overlooked. Not through effort, and not through fixing - but simply through noticing. I hope they resonate with you.

- [#9 - The Only Reason We Ever Suffer](https://www.suzannelang.com/blog/107744-the-only-reason-we-ever-suffer) by Suzanne Lång (Jun 6, 2025): Understanding these three dimensions of experience - The Absolute, The Relative, and The Illusory - is where we can finally begin to get real about what’s not real. In other words, they can help us understand why we feel the way we do.
- [#8 - Why you say Yes when you meant to say No](https://www.suzannelang.com/blog/107739-what-if-youre-not-actually-doing-it) by Suzanne Lång (Jun 6, 2025): Today I would like to explore something fascinating and probably a little challenging: What if we're not actually the "doers" or even the "thinkers" we imagine ourselves to be?
- [#7 It’s ALL just thought. (Even the ones that feel like truth.)](https://www.suzannelang.com/blog/107488-alljusthought) by Suzanne Lång (May 24, 2025): We don’t see thought for what it is because it doesn’t announce itself. It's not like your mind says "Hey - here's a thought! And this one is here confuse you and make you believe something that isn’t true!”
- [#6 The First Card That Seems to Hold It All Together](https://www.suzannelang.com/blog/107486-houseofcards) by Suzanne Lång (May 24, 2025): If we take away that first card - the belief in a 'me' - then all the other cards fall with it. The whole house falls apart. Without the belief in a 'me' there was nothing there that was substantial enough to stand.
- [#5 The Perfect Temperature & the Many Degrees of Being](https://www.suzannelang.com/blog/107484-temperature) by Suzanne Lång (May 24, 2025): We often think in opposites: hot/cold, light/dark, good/bad, success/failure, happy/sad. We try to avoid one end (cold, dark, failure) and chase the other (warmth, light, success). But everything we experience in this world - light and dark, health and illness, joy and sorrow - is really just movement along the same line - the same continuum - there are extremes on both sides and varying degrees in between.
- [#4 Vad är grundläggande för en omelett?](https://www.suzannelang.com/blog/107483-omeletten) by Suzanne Lång (May 24, 2025): Den här veckans reflektion bygger på en metafor jag läste i den fantastiska boken ”The Complete Book of Awakening” av Helen Amery och Sara Priestly. Livet är det grundläggande. Det är vår essens. Det är vad vi är. Allt annat har lagts till.
- [#4 What is essential to an omelette?](https://www.suzannelang.com/blog/107482-omelette) by Suzanne Lång (May 24, 2025): This week’s reflection is based on a super clear metaphor I read in the excellent book called “The Complete Book of Awakening” by Helen Amery and Sara Priestly. Life is the essential. It is our essence. It is who we are. Everything else has been added.
- [#3 The castle - and the rooms we learned to avoid](https://www.suzannelang.com/blog/107480-castle) by Suzanne Lång (May 24, 2025): Imagine this: You’re born into a vast and beautiful castle. There are so many rooms and corridors just waiting to be explored. Every room is a new possibility and each one has its own unique color, sound, texture and feeling. As children we are open and curious about all of it. The only thing we want to do is to run through the corridors, throw open the doors and discover every room.
Then, little by little, we start to learn, and the labeling begins.

- [#2 - The Nature of Thought: What We Miss and Why It Matters](https://www.suzannelang.com/blog/107478-natureofthought) by Suzanne Lång (May 24, 2025): When we see the true nature of something - its essence when all interpretation is stripped away - we are no longer at its mercy. We can finally respond to it as it is, not as we imagine it to be, and this changes everything.
- [#1 The voice that says you're not enough](https://www.suzannelang.com/blog/106219-thevoice) by Suzanne Lång (Apr 28, 2025): Sometimes the voices we trust the most are the ones that are quietly undermining us. This reflection is an invitation to notice the ever-present hum of self-doubt - not as a personal flaw to fix, but as a learned story we've been carrying for too long. In seeing it for what it truly is, a different possibility begins to open: the freedom of realizing there was never anything wrong with you to begin with.
