the end of suffering

what’s really on offer here?

ease and freedom

What would you rather have: a two-week, all-expense paid trip to the tropical island of your choice OR raise your level of consciousness and feel more happy and content for the rest of your life?

If you’re like most people, you’ll choose the trip.

Do you roll your eyes when there is talk of higher levels of consciousness? Your “level of consciousness” simply means how aware or unaware you are of what is happening in your experience at any given moment – and understanding how this promptly affects your state of mind.

The idea that our experience of life can dramatically change through a shift in understanding, or through being more aware of our state of mind, is something we can hardly imagine or even relate to, because it just doesn’t seem real, feasible or even possible.

But the state of happiness is a state of mind. The happiness you are looking for happens in your mind. Where else could it possibly happen? It is only through our minds that we are able to experience life, and so, when all is said and done, it is only the mind that experiences happiness.

We look outside of ourselves for happiness believing we’ll find it in relationships, having nice things, or a fancy job title. But no matter how much we achieve or have, that nagging, underlying feeling that something is wrong or missing will relentlessly persist. In other words, what we think will make us happy, can never make us happy. Only our minds can do that. When we believe otherwise, we suffer.

Only when we realize that the source of any distress, such as worry, anxiety, fear and sadness, comes from inside our own minds and not from anything “out there” in the world, can we do something about it and begin to see and experience the world differently.

In other words, as long as we are unable to see through the haze of our own thinking, we’ll forever be chasing fantasies and illusions thinking that what we are looking for is “out there”. And we will continue to blame our discontent on people or circumstance that have absolutely nothing to do with our happiness.

Your true nature is joyful! You are born that way. It is only your own thoughts that can obscure that joy. You are always only one thought away from a good feeling – and only you can discover that for yourself.

I just point you in the direction of where to look.

No methods or models.
Just a realization.

Turns out that life is super logical, but if you start with the wrong premise, the result can be neither reliable, nor accurate. Below are 6 completely counter-intuitive premises, which never-the-less are fundamental to alleviating any kind of mental suffering, such as stress, worry, anxiety or depression and return you to the mental clarity and well-being you are born with. The implications of seeing the truth in these premises are far-reaching, never-ending and profoundly life-changing.

Premise 1

Your experience of life is only ever happening right now in the present moment. Whether you are worrying about the future or ruminating on the past, you are constructing those images Now

Premise 2

Your true nature is resilient, knowing, creative and joyful. You lack nothing.

Premise 3

100% of your feelings are coming from your thinking. There are no exceptions.

Premise 4

Thoughts and feelings are perfectly aligned with each other and are always striving to bring us back to our well-being and balance. Your feelings are your greatest guides and biggest assets.

Premise 5

Thoughts are ephemeral – just energy passing through, coming and going. never-ending. They are like shadows on the wall – they seem real, but they can neither hurt you nor help you.

Premise 6

People are always doing what makes sense to them to do, given the thinking that seems real to them in the moment.

No methods or models.
Just a realization.

Thanks to Suzanne’s coaching I have been able to land in a state of inner peace even though my life is still storming around me. It’s big to be able to consciously choose peace instead of unconsciously letting in the raging storm. This is change for real.

N

Connected

You would feel connected to all of it and have the ability to connect with other people with a genuineness, leading to stronger relationships with customers, colleagues, friends and family.

what’s the catch?

No catch, just three reliable and predictable principles of well-being & clarity. There is simply a realization that the truth of who we are cannot ever be defined by that about us which constantly changes, ie. our thoughts, our beliefs, opinions, concepts, values and ideas about who we are. It can only be defined by that which is constant and continuous – life just living, presence and being. We are alive, we think and we are aware – every minute, every day, year in and year out. Seeing for yourself how Mind, Thought and Consciousness are always working together will not make your life better; but it will make it easier. Understanding how these three principles are forever in motion, always working together to create your every experience will help you immensely in how you see your life.

THE PRINCIPLE OF MIND

We are Alive

Mind is the intelligence that knows how to create every living system and how to operate those systems. The intelligence of life is what lets you breathe and lets your heart beat without you having to do a single thing. In nature, it guides the embryo to become a baby, the acorn to become the oak tree and it turns sunlight into energy for the flower to grow.

The Principle of Mind is the energy and intelligence that is behind life. It is always at work. Mind is the essential nature, the living force behind every one of us.

Without mind you cannot have an experience.

THE PRINCIPLE OF THOUGHT

We think

Just as fish live in water and don’t realize it, we humans live in a world of thought and often don’t realize it. There is nothing in our experience, from the moment we are born to the moment we die, that isn’t brought to life by the power of thought.

Thought is transient, formless and there are no boundaries to what you can think. Your ideas, beliefs, limitations, assumptions and values are all constructed via thought and can therefore never be objectively true.

And yet, thought is the unlimited creative potential, or field, from which all experiences arise. Thought is behind everything you feel and all of your emotions. Every thought brings with it a feeling and with every new thought, comes a new feeling.

Without Thought you cannot have an experience.

THE PRINCIPLE OF CONSCIOUSNESS

we are aware

The Latin word for soul is “anima,” which is the root of the word animation. Consciousness is the space in which thought arises and it is that which animates your thinking and turns your thoughts into sensory experiences which allows you to be aware of what is created. It is like the “Special Effects” department of your mind bringing your thoughts to life in every moment.

Behind all your thoughts there is a space that is always quiet, always still and is that which allows every human being to be aware of life – that is your true nature.

Consciousness is that which allows every human being to be aware of life and the role that Thought has in creating your experience of life. It brings your senses to life — your seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, and touching.

Without Consciousness you cannot have an experience.
